Made some of these beauties this morning. So filling. So delicious.
Blend 3/4 cup oats to a fine consistency, then add 2 overripe nanas + 1 egg+ 2 tbspn date puree + small amount of almond milk until a semi thick batter is formed…. fry for 1 minute on each side over medium heat. Enjoy!
I hadn’t been back home in almost two decades! Being back to the country of my birth (and playing the role of tourist) was one of the best travel experiences yet! There is so much about this land that is familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. The colours so bright, the smiles, the architecture the food all welcoming me home once again.
I am off to PARADISE for 2 weeks!!!
Will keep you posted as I journey through an amazing tropical food adventure. On the list of things to try – Hawaiian Poi, Saimin, Malasadas, Ahi poke, Hawaiian shave ice, Huli huli chicken, and all that gorgeous fruit!! Mangoes, guavas (my personal fav), coconuts and pineapples (need I say more).
