Hazelnut love <3

Baking with these beauties is easy! I am thinking of making a delicious dark chocolate and hazelnut loaf – a great way to get my antioxidants.

Did you know that hazelnut skins are rich in fibre and contain 7-8 times more antioxidants than dark chocolate?

India in August

I hadn’t been back home in almost two decades! Being back to the country of my birth (and playing the role of tourist) was one of the best travel experiences yet! There is so much about this land that is familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. The colours so bright, the smiles, the architecture the food all welcoming me home once again.

Hawa Mahal which translates to a place of air. (Rajasthan)

How does your garden grow?

How do you know your garden greens are FRESH AS!

There are snails munching on them when they are plucked 😀
Gorgeous courgette (zucchini) flowers ready to be stuffed with pumpkin and feta then lightly fried! Yummo!
Stevia – also known as the sugar herb – the taste is unique and the leaves can be dried and powdered and used in baking or mixed into tea.
